    • Virtually every post in this thread has stated that only a biopsy can prove prostate cancer.
    • A PSA or isoPSA can be used to identify the need for a biopsy; that's all. By itself, it proves nothing. If a patient has a higher than normal IsoPSA, the chance of there being cancer is about 16% according to a recent paper I will cite below.

    it was a wedge shaped hypointensity not hyperintensity… not sure if thats better or not, but radiologist impression just said no lesions and mild BPH , with wedge shape is usually always inflammation like prostatitis. i have been a mess still due to the isopsa lab , and of course expecting the worst on my biopsy on the 18th

    'hypo' is better; it means lower intensity.
