Chemo smell 4 years later
Everything brings out a chemo smell for me. My last chemo (heated intraperitoneal chemo aka hot chemo bath in abdomen) was July 15, 2020. What can I do?

Hello, farraleeaouellette, and welcome to the CSN H&N discussion forum.
I think I had some of that and some other unusual sensory things after treatment along with others on here but as far as I know, it is one side effect that should just diminish and go away on its own. I don't have an answer for you but I would recommend you get back with your chemotherapy doctor and let them know this is hanging on. There may not be much they can do it just takes time. I did find a thread on CSN dealing with odors after treatment though check it out and see if it helps you at all...
Also here is a thread on Redditt that seems to deal with the subject...

Also check out the Superthread
I would also recommend you check out the Superthread at the top of the page there is loads of information in there with links and you will find it helpful.
Wishing You The Best
Take Care, God Bless
