Wake Forest or Atrium Health Levine in Charlotte

I am exploring my options for a 2nd opinion or treatment outside of my hometown. I know Duke is probably the most well regarded cancer center in NC, but Wake Forest (NCI) and Atrium Health Levine Cancer Center in Charlotte are closer to me. Does anyone know anything about these 2 places in regards to Anal Cancer?

    Hello - I'm in Virginia and can't comment on Duke vs. NCI. That said, I know that Anal cancer treatment has been standardized for 8 plus years(?) so you would probably get a similar treatment regardless of where you went. I looked into new therapies and the only thing new was a study for Stage 4 patients, which I was not qualified for. (Not complaining...)
