Hey Cayman, I don't know that answer but can you share what you were told by your gyn onc? I believe there are some women here who also may have had it and I hope they will be along to share as well.

I don’t think you have to take steroids after Doxil unless your doctor specifically recommends it. My cousin in Canada went through a similar treatment and didn’t need steroids afterward, but every case is different. Steroids are used for different reasons, so if it's just for muscle recovery or building strength post-treatment, that's a conversation with your doctor. In Canada, some people have turned to things like [Content removed by CSN Support Team.] for muscle growth or recovery, but it's really important to be careful and follow medical advice. Just make sure you’re making decisions that are right for your health first.

A buddy of mine went through something similar after treatment and didn’t end up needing steroids. Her doctor said it really depends on your situation and what your body needs.

Darn. I'm sorry to hear about your new development. Darn.

There have been women on this page who have been on Keytruda and avastin. I can't remember if it was at the same time. Are you part of a clinical trial?

I'm sorry I can't answer the question for you, but can you share what you were told as possible side effects?
