How was your Liver biopsy?

My dad ubderwent CT and PET scabs that show 90% chance of cancer activities in liver, lungs, and stomach. Doctors recommend liver biopsy but daddy is undecided due to fears of cancer seeding. Anyone have any insights on personal or loved ones experiences?
