New Diagnosis Multiple Organ Cancer
Good afternoon,
My husband was just diagnosed with cancer in the liver, pancreas and lungs. This was a surprise diagnosis because we went in due to symptoms of a stroke. I am trying to navigate finding an oncologist. He was referred to one while in the hospital but though he seems quite nice my concern is the reviews on wait times in the office for treatment can be hours. This does not sound like a good way to start. What is the best way to find an oncologist? Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
