5 year anniversary

Hi all,

I think I will add to the 5 year celebration. I just marked my 5 year anniversary and am declared cancer free. 1a serous. So relieved and happy to have achieved this milestone. I want to thank all of the ladies who helped me over the years, supported me, gave such good advice. I honestly don't know what I would have done without this board and I have made many friends. 💙

So, you had 1a endometrial SEROUS carcinoma and are cancer free after 5 years? Did you ever have a recurrance?

Hi dkbbjn,

No, I did not have a recurrence. I had some LVSI, my treatment was 4 chemo, 3 brachy. I probably had a CT scan every year on average due to some persistent pain, they were able to monitor my stable lung and thyroid nodules. I am very grateful and humbled.

There are many of us here on the board over the years who have similar outcomes, or have recurred and are doing well managing their disease. There is hope.
