Long story short, I was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma of the glottic larynx. Went through radiation and chemo. About three months out. I was given the amazing news that I am in remission. However shorty after about three weeks I started having trouble breathing. It got worse and worse. I then went to the ER I was rushed into emergency surgery. They then put a Trac and feeding tube in. I e had the tube about two weeks. I then saw an ENT and was told my epiglottitis is now deformed and I am currently dependent on the Trac. What if any options do I have? I would love to not live with this tube in my throat. Sorry for the long story. Thank you in advance.
