I want to start with I don't know if my kidney lesion is cancerous or not yet. I was diagnosed a little over a month ago with PTC of the thyroid and my ENT finally told me when I first got in about my BRAF gene mutation. I read somewhere on here that someones doctor told them it was like stepping on the gas petal and not letting up. I'm just curious about anyone else's experience with BRAF and if they developed a kidney lesion after being diagnosed with PTC. Also what did your doctors do for the kidney lesion or PTC before removal of the thyroid or lymphnodes? The only thing my PCP has done is put me on medication to lessen the abdominal pain from the kidney lesion.
