appendiceal adenocarcinoma/Small bowel cancer
Hi, I’m new here looking at all of your questions and the answers and it’s been wonderful to see everyone helping. I come here for my mother, who was diagnosed with appendix, cancer, early 2020. Her appendix ruptured, and the mucin seeped out and is now in her colon, causing her to have small bowel cancer. Her CEA number seems pretty low it’s staying around 4.3 to 4.8. Is that low? What is it technically mean I’m trying to just put everything together. She also might have HIPEC surgery will know more this coming Wednesday when she speaks with a surgeon to see if she’s the best candidate for it. Thank you
