What songs do you listen to when you just need to let yourself feel everything?

I recently found out that my mom has stage IV breast cancer. Music has always helped me work through my emotions, but I’m having trouble finding songs that apply here. They don’t have to specifically be about cancer.

I’m not talking about fight songs, but more so songs about grieving the loss of the life we expected, cherishing the time we have, and the little glimmers of hope in between.

I've lived quite well with stage 4 bc for 7 years. I listen to Metallica, Seek and Destroy. Get amped up and do battle. Give your mom my love.
