in Prostate Cancer #1

I have asymptomatic 6X.9 pi Rad 4 mri lesion of left central prostate not involving capsule or nodes. I am awaiting biopsy but PSA 5.0. I am mid 60s & prefer robotic surgery. I want a surgeon who does many cases & can travel but live Atlanta area. Any help?

    Ask the urologist who will do the biopsies. He/She is likely to want to do the surgery, but don't rely on that opinion.

    I highly recommend that you also look into the many radiation therapies that might be applicable. However, we are both ahead of the facts... The biopsy result will tell us more.
