Chemo "routine"?

I had a lumpectomy last week and cancer was found in a lymph node. I assume I'll need chemotherapy now - I was really hoping to get away with a lumpectomy and radiation alone. Well, what do I do now, but sit around and think about chemo?

My question is: what did your chemo "routine" look like? If you worked, did you need to take a few days off after another round? Was each treatment similar in side effects to where you could time it (like, day 1=nausea, day 2=body aches, day 3=back to work)???

Please tell me what your routines look like.
