I've been using Dave Ramsey's " better than I deserve" But it has stopped working.

Does anyone have any puns or jokes to share that are clean and light and will not leave the questioner upset?

I feel the same way - I hate the how are you questions even though they are so very kindly intended. Depends on the person, but sometimes I say "I'm hanging in there" or "it's a challenge but I'm showing up". Close friends sometimes hear "I can't answer right now" and they know that's not because I think they won't respond with kindness and love, but because if I open that compartment, even a little, at that moment or in that context, I'll lose it.
