Yearly check up

Hi Everyone and especially my summer 2016 cohort,

I had my annual trip to see my surgeon/oncologist/urologist (I love my 3-in-1 doc), annual physical, derm, etc and all is well with my kidney. Always a relief. I know there has been discussion here about creatinine and eGFR - mine came out this time at 1.23 and 46. Pretty satisfied with those but I keep watching sodium and have taken blood pressure meds since surgery. I was born with only one kidney, then it had a tumor... so I think it's doing well after a partial nephrectomy. Prayers and best wishes to all. Take care ~

Ha! I just try to check in when I can. When I was first diagnosed I felt so alone in the universe, but then you and the other folks here kept me sane through my journey, so I feel indebted to this place.

I'm well, thanks! Between family and work, there never seems to be enough time. LOL. Hope you're well, too!
