Treatment options for medullary thyroid cancer

I have a cousin who is from Montevideo, Uruguay, with medullary thyroid cancer who after multiple surgeries is still suffering recurrence. This cancer has now spread to the liver and lungs and we are waiting on confirmatory FAPI-PET/CT to know what her next options are. Are there any research or clinical trials opportunities for treatment for international patients this community may know of? She has full family and relocation support in Houston.
