Hello I'm french

I registered on this forum because in France there is no on Sarcomas

My wife (36 old) was diagnosed in September 2022 with a grade 2 synovial sarcoma, she has a 9cm tumor in her calf

The protocol is Chimio > Radiotherapy > Operation

I wanted to know if other people have gone through this cancer, so I can share

Thank you

My son in law who’s 28 just got diagnosed with synovial sarcoma. He’s having problems seeing a specialist as it’s not covered by his insurance and they apparently want $5000 up front just to meet. We’re having a hard time trying to figure out how he’s supposed to pay for this and the ongoing appointments, etc. Crazy & very scary.

Sorry to hear your wife is going through thisI. You just never know what life is going to throw at you.

    take care.

Hello everyone, I'm new to France and would like some information about synovial sarcoma. A relative of mine has metastasized to the lungs. He has already undergone chemo (3 courses). I can't find anything on the forums about people with this type of cancer. At first, the problem was localized to the foot, then after surgery, it was discovered that it had metastasized to the lung. What treatment is used? How is it progressing over time (tolerance of treatment, effectiveness, etc.)? how are you doing? thanks for your help. Take heart.
