I am 33, I was gone through D& C last march 20 due to heavy bleeding.
My biopsy result was out & diagnosed with endometrial adenocarcinoma, endometrioid type with squamous metaplasia, figo grade 1
I want to go back to the hospital to meet a gyne ongco for my situation right now.
I am praying that there is an oral medication for my type of cancer because I cant afford to leave my work.

Hey LowkeyTower, I hope you don't mind but I have a question for you. Are you saying you had a D&C March 20 last year (2024) or just a little over a week ago?
I suspect that they will tell you a hysterectomy, which should be performed by a gynecologic oncologist. Endometrioid is usually fixed after surgery but the squamous metaplasia could mean other treatment, but a gyn onc would be able to tell you. Typically your gyn would refer you to a gyn onc.

Hi there,
I agree with NoTimeForCancer, that it is best to be referred to a gyn oncologist. It's possible that since you are young, they may give you a medication instead of surgery. It really depends on other factors: Estrogen receptor + or -, Progesterone + or -, how far the cancer has spread, etc. In the lower grade ER+/PR+ they may be able to do "de-escalation" which means they may be able to treat with hormonal type treatments.
Best wishes.
