CPT 11 and immunotherapy

Hello my dad's latest petscan showed 2 pen tip metasis in lung and on 1 on liver, Dr put him on cpt11 with immunotherapy. He just had first round and so far he is experiencing alot of bone and joint pain we have been givening him tylenol and ibuprofen mix it tends to help some but he breaks out in a cold sweat... has anybody else expirenced this and if so, what pain meds if any worked for you all thanks.
