Hi!

Anyone here had succesful cytoreductive surgery, with or without HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) for peritoneal carcinomatosis? Stage 4...

If in Canada, what hospital?

Thanks!

In Toronto, Mount Sinai is the only hospital offering it. My wife was referred there. We didn’t end up doing it there as we went to the US but we know several people who did it at MS and had successful outcomes. The team there is known to be world class.

Hi! I just had cytoreductive surgery for peritoneal carcinomatosis last month. Just wanted to check in and see if anyone would be willing to tell me how things are going for them a few years out? Hoping for clear scans at my 8-week checkup, but kinda nervous because I have never had clear scans since my original diagnosis 2 years ago with stage IIIC, even after multiple "successful" surgeries. Would love to hear from people who have had successful cytoreductive surgery. I hope everyone is doing well!

My wife had CRS/HIPEC in March 2022 and NED scans since. Hoping for same outcome for you as well.
