ADT Hormone therapy

I am 82 and love to ski! I was recently diagnosed with positive lymph nodes on my prostate. I’ve received one testosterone lowering shot and have to decide if I want to take the hormone therapy tomorrow. My ski resort opens on the tenth. Will I be able to ski if I go forward with this therapy? How bad are the side effects? I’ve been working out on my mountain bike all summer and don’t want to miss ski season!

    Hi,

How did they determine that you have cancer in your lymph nodes? Did you already have surgery? What was the Gleason score of your lymph nodes?

A lot of info regarding your prostate is missing, but I do think that you can have fun skiing.

In fact, just about everyone recommends exercise while undergoing 'hormone therapy'

    Well,

Skiing at 82 is impressive. Surely you can enjoy it while on ADT.

    Don't break a leg. 😇😉
