Tamoxifen and hot flashes, ONCOTYPE score
Since I am on Tamoxifen (3 months), I have had hot flashes. How to get rid of them? Any ideas?
How do I know Tamoxifen is doing its job? My ONCOTYPE score was 14 with a 4% possibility of recurrence in the next 9 years. What happens after 9 years?

I am not on Tamoxifen but in menopause and what helped with my hot flashes was cutting out alcohol and nicotine. Limiting caffeine to one coffee per day and limiting spicy food. And making sure I am hydrated, drinking lots of liquids. Also dressing in layers so I can quickly unbutton my cardigan. It's winter here but I don't wear really warm sweaters. My hot flashes are still here but much less intense. Maybe you are doing all this already. Best wishes for you.
