Update - appointment with oncologist Dec 1st. Will know more about treatment and let you know. Did find out that there will most likely not be surgery.

Hi I got the biopsy results and the RCC has spread to the pancreas. Will hear about next steps soon. I'm definitely scared but I know God is helping me. Thanks for your support over the years, you've all helped me so much.

Hi I met with my oncologist. He is going to start me on Votrient and we'll see how it goes.

Hi Allochka thanks. I just started the Votrient it's been less than a week. Feeling OK so far some tummy issues and some slight nausea nothing too consistent or serious yet.

Just an update, they've already taken me off Votrient due to hypertension and abdominal pain and issues. Doctor is thinking any other TKIs will do the same, so immunotherapy will be next if I agree.

I read that you can live without a pancreas, but you have to have artificial insulin injections and digestive enzymes.
