Simple Mastectomy preparation and recovery
I'd appreciate your advice as I prepare for a simple mastectomy next week. I'm 77 years old and currently living in a hotel due to water damage in our home. Questions that have already come to mind include:
1) What can I do in advance of the procedure to increase my likelihood of success?
2) How much discomfort should I expect following the procedure.
3) Will I receive two surgical bras?
4) What is a "puff"? I assume it is something that you place in the bra but I"m unsure
5) How long before I can order new bras? I understand that Medicare covers the expense. Is this correct?
Thank you
