Please help me understand my mother's path report. She was just diagnosed last week.

Invasive Carcinoma Type:

Invasive Lobular Carcinoma spans at least 6mm in this material

Differentiation:

Moderately to poorly differentiated

Nuclear Grade

III/III (MARKED VARIATION IN SIZE AND SHAPE)

Lobular Neoplasis:

Lobular Carcinoma in situ (LCIS), CLASSIC TYPE

Results of immunohistochemical Studies:

Invasive carcinoma (block1)

Estrogen Receptor (CLONE 6F11, Leica)

Positive Nuclear Staining in 5% of tumor cells

Moderate integrity

Progresterone Receptor (Clone 16, Leica)

Negative

HER2 (4B5 VENTARA)

EQUIVOCAL 2+ fish will be performed
