Bronchoscopy with biopsy or another CT in 3 months
I am asking on behalf of my husband. We received the results of his PET scan and CT w/contrast.
Results were enlarged inferior hilar lymph nodes, mild metabolic activity SUV 3.2. Bilateral lung nodules, not metabolically active.
No other abnormalities noted. He has been given the option of a repeated CT in 3 months (suggested by PET) or bronchoscopy with biopsy (CT report).
Thoughts based on the SUV? The hilar node measures 3.2cm.
Thank you for your thoughts and input.
