C-Diff

I had colon cancer in my Sigmoid colon in 2020 I didn't have any treatments they did surgery on me and took out 1 and 1/2 feet of my Sigmoid colon.

Well, I have yet to have 1 full 30 day month since my surgery on 11/2/2020 that I am not having to stay close to the restroom due to frequent trips throughout the day.

And just recently I have started having abdominal pain and cramping.

So my GI doctor had me to collect samples and send them off to the lab and it came back saying that I have C-Diff and what gets me is NONE of the things listed as to how I could get it applies. The only thing that I can figure is maybe I caught it from someone but that still doesn't account for my having these issues since my surgery that I didn't have pre surgery.

So I am wondering if any of ya'll have gotten it and colitis?
