Bladder Mass
Hi guys, been away for a while, coming up on nine years since my left kidney was removed. Had labs, US etc done for my appointment with my doctor. Results of US show a mass on the right side of my bladder so needless to say my mind is racing. It’s 2 weeks until my follow up appointment. Has anybody experienced this? Could it be my kidney cancer has metastasize?

The labs/US were done ahead of 2 week appointment as part of my annual kidney check up. I guess I am a bit shocked as all my previous annuals have been great, NED all the way. I hope to hear this week if they can fit me in sooner to see Doctor, just to hear from him his impression of what it might be. He is terrific, very easy to speak to and answer questions. He was my surgeon who removed my left kidney following my diagnosis, it was early stage found incidentally.

Deanie, thank you so much. That’s what I’ve always loved about this site that we care enough about each other. It’s a journey only those of us who are on it can understand. See my doctor tomorrow but my healthcare company has reported the results and it all looks good, not just good great! I will ask if he knows if a reason why an ultrasound showed a mass and a CT and cystectomy was clear. So relieved.
