2nd time down this path
Back in 2011, I had LCIS, DCIS and invasive. Had a single MX and did well for 10 years. I felt a lump earlier this month and my scan shows blood flow to mass in same MX breast. Tomorrow is my biopsy. I am nervous about this being a reoccurrence and having the blood flow. I fear that means that it has moved on to my lymph nodes this time. Last time, I had clean lymph nodes. The wait to get results back is going to be tough. I am confused on why the doc who gave me the ultrasound results emphasized blood flow. Scared.

It is normal to have fear. I had 14 positive lymph nodes and that was 12 years ago. Never have felt healthier in my entire lifetime.
I studied long time breast cancer survivors and followed their lead. Be your own advocate and trust your instincts. You will be fine just take charge and follow positive people who are cancer free today.
