Meals plans help
There is confusion on how to plan my meals. I'm starting Radiation in 3 days. Any help would be appreciated. I have had the Markers done and the Space Ore done.

Hi there,
I received several pages of recommended food items and some general advice.
Really it boiled down to eat plenty of protein, I was eating cheese, fish and meat on the same day. Avoid vegetables that cause gas eg brassicas, Jerusalem artichokes, etc. Don't eat too much fruit, particularly in the latter stages as it can bring on diarrhoea.
In addition to the above, I asked it I could take a normal vitamin tablet every day and they said fine so I did. I would also take some long walks everyday just to take my mind off it all.
I might have been lucky or just resistant to radiation but I got through it OK, no bloody diarrhoea, only slightly pink urine at the end and I recovered pretty well with not a lot of long term effects.
I have some leg pains but that could be due to surgery or maybe advancing age.
Best wishes,
Georges
