Advice on swollen lymph nodes?

Boring question here, not terribly troublesome but annoying thing after my surgery that I’m curious about…. I had my debunking surgery, 21 lymph nodes removed (paralytic and pelvic, thankfully all benign). Now that I’m healing (3 weeks out) my upper thighs/groin swell and so do my armpits… clothes get so painful that I’m practically naked by dark. Will this go away? Doctor says my body is just “figuring things out” and the other lymph nodes are working overtime. I believe her. I just want my body to figure it out before chemo. Thanks! Appreciate any shared experiences! —K
