Ibrance question

Hello everyone. Long time participant on the Uterine page and have only had to visit you all some on the BC page. I find I have another question, and I will tell you I don't have a LOT of information.

Mom and oldest sister had lobular BC, and then last Oct I took middle sister for some type of BC surgery (guessing a lumpectomy) but she won't say what. I didn't even know what hospital I was driving her to until we got in the car the morning of, and while I respect her wishes, she makes three women on the six in the family who have/had BC.

I found out she was put on ibrance, and while I know there is a lot posted on the pages, I was wondering if anyone here could tell me if they were put on it during early stage dx, not just when it is in its metastatic stage. If so, how has it worked for you (or loved one), how have you/they tolerated it, any tips would be appreciated.

My twin sister and I are beside ourselves trying to piece things together.

Not sure if CSN is the best place to come for BC with so much out there, but I guess I will share the things I ended up finding in case someone should find themselves here. I guess Ibrance isn't as successful at other drugs in early DX.
