When will the R-CHOP start working?
Hi!
My father has Morbus Waldenstrom (it's non hodgkin lymphoma). He has had two cycles r-chop, but there is no improvement in his condition. He feels very weak, just as he did before he started treatment. I would even say that he feels even worse.
The doctor says that he has to wait and that the first improvement will only become visible after the fourth cycle.
What was your experience with R-CHOP? When did you feel any improvement?
Thank you!

I did 8 rounds
I had Large cell antiplastic lymphoma
i didn’t feel any improvement until 3 months after my last round
my PRT scan after my 6th round showed that all of my 342 tumors were either gone or so small that they were immeasurable
my PET scan 3 months after my last treatment showed zero tumors but my white blood cell count dropped to 1.2 so I’m going in for a bone marrow biopsy
hope this helps
