Childhood cancer survivor in the 1970's
I am a cancer survivor who was diagnosed at age 5 with ALL in 1972. I was treated with the St. Jude's protocol at my local hospital. I am now about to turn 55 and have had multiple health issues as I've grown older. I'm reaching out to see if there are any of you that were diagnosed in the 70's , treated and survived. I'm not sure if the radiation and chemo I received was related to my current health issues. I have diabetes , liver disease and an immune deficiency disorder that I'm being treated for currently. I would just like to compare stories with anyone with the same history and treatment.
