No but I have considered getting it after my cancer journey is done. I've struggled my whole life w weight. Even being a gym rat and exercising 5 days a week for 15 years. I'm still 100lbs overweight 🙄💩 No genetic markers for cancer. But yet surgeon points to cause being high fat diet, overweight and sedentary lifestyle?!?

What are your feeling or concerns? Did you have weight loss surgery? Then get diagnosed? Please share more. Thanks

Well isn't that some real slap in the face, crap. How long after the surgery did you get diagnosed? Maybe it was there before the weight loss? I know I've heard gallbladders can be problematic after bariatric surgery.

I'm so sorry Steph57...pray your journey through cancer treatment is effective and fast.

got diagnosed in 2019 after having bleeding. I had my chemo, then my radiation and chemo then to Mass General for surgery July 22, 2021 got a lovely colostomy for a few months then I got the reversal. Doctor says he got it all. I go for a cat scan on april 21st. I am truly blessed and I had my bariatric surgery 7 years ago. Had surgery for breast cancer last month am going through radiation till the end of month then planning on enjoying my summer and my grandbabies.
