Radiation for breast cancer
Started to notice headaches after 8 rounds, unusual for me. Has anyone else experienced them with radiation treatment? (Trying not to leap to brain Mets…)

Did not have any headaches but fatigue was the biggie for me! My radiation treatments were in the morning and by the last few treatments I was pretty wiped out for the rest of the day.
I also had a lot of problems with my skin as time went on. I followed the directions from the Dr. as far as what creams to use, etc. But it turns out that I was allergic the the cream so along with the effects of radiation I also developed a rash. They ended up putting me on oral steroids to get things under control. If you skin gets really itchy and painful talk to the Dr. about switching creams!
Best advice I can give you is to take it easy and treat yourself kindly. If you get tired take a nap, if you get bad side effects that concern you make sure and mention it to someone! Not the time to be a martyr .
Take care and remember the treatments will be over soon.....
