Understanding this P16 contraction is boggling my husband and I

Is there other ways that a person can contract the positive p16 factor?

HPV that leads to oral, anal and cervical cancers is typically spread via sexual activity. Where HPV is sneaky though is that it can sit and do nothing for years and years...10-20 years is not unheard of...before it does it's thing and causes cancer.
