Unresectable Stage 3. Mediastinal involvement

Hi. Just got crappy news surgery proved to not be an option when they opened me up and found the tumor in my mediastinum hardened around everything and is not going away. He called it a “frozen mediastinum”. Has anyone else gotten this? Surgeon chose to clean up some adhesions and close me up, so I’m back to the oncologist to try another chemo agent. The internet does not show great stats for living up to the 5 year mark. Anyone have some good news for me,, even Prozac isn’t really helping keep me from the negative thoughts. Hoping I can hear some success stories :). Hope everyone else is doing well!!
