I’m looking for advice. My oncologist recommended the wrong treatment for me in error. He said I could take Keytruda and submitted that to my insurance company who turned it down. I was wondering why it was taking more than two weeks for my treatment to start and researched it by calling my insurance company. The doctor office kept saying it was pending and I needed to wait.

The doctor put in his report that I had the KRAS and EGFR mutation. When I called to find out what happened he thought I had the KRAS and when he went back to my molecular study it was EGFR which excludes me from Keytruda.

Should I continue with this doctor hoping another error won’t occur or do I seek out a new doctor and continue to delay treatment?

I am really at a loss because time is of the essence

Any advice would be helpful
