Hello looking resources: I was diagnosed with MTC cancer in July. I had a total thyroidectomy in August with a total left neck dissection removing 56 lymph nodes. I have been on synthroid since then with it being adjusted 3 times now. My levels have gone from .041 to now .014. I am having so many symptoms and I can tell when my levels are changing. My doctor now doesn’t want to do blood work for 2 months with the new dosing of synthroid. They keep telling me it just takes time. I know it takes time but feeling horrible just stinks. Not to mention the pain I have still in my neck. Does any one have envy good resources on recover of this type of cancer and also on how synthroid works. I’m looking for anything at this point since my endocrinologist doesn’t want to answer questions. Thank you in advance.
