Yeah it's 1 cm. They call stable
That big,i dont know but maybe you can ask oncologist more deep?We have to advocate ourselves
The risk that any nodule is cancerous depends most importantly on the size.
- In general, nodules that are less than 6 mm (1/4 inch) in diameter are followed with a repeat chest CT scan due to the low risk of cancer (ten percent or less), unless some other feature is felt to increase the probability of cancer.
- Nodules between 6 mm and 10 mm need to be carefully assessed.
- Nodules greater than 10 mm in diameter should be biopsied or removed due to the 80 percent probability that they are malignant.
- Nodules greater than 3 cm are referred to as lung masses.

1 cm sounds like a a nodule
1 cm sounds like a a nodule on bigger side of the spectrum. If it is stable - than most probably not a met. But I'd definitely ask a doctor for how long it is stable and consider second opinion.
That being said, my husband had enlarged mesenterial and hepatic lympnodes seen on his CT. But they were not of a concern after all, because on next CT a year and a half later they were still stable. Most probably they enlarged due to his Hep C and stayed like this
So not that is out of ordinary automatically means mets
