Feel sad for some
I always feel sad for the one's who pass on and their familys. We only know one another through this board and I have to say there is not a braver bunch of people anywhere. I pray for all of us everynight. It is so up lifting to read your stories of survival. You all keep me going.

It hurts our hearts
We have lost so many, since I joined the forum, in January 2013. It always hurts.
It hurts when our friends go missing from the forum, and we are left wondering. Wanting to believe they have moved on, but not moved on to that great place they call Heaven. Hard not ever knowing.
But, there are many wonderful success stories here, to give people hope, as they travel the Cancer road.
I am glad that you have found comfort here. May we be forum friends for many a year.

I'm sure that sadness and
I'm sure that sadness and recalling the fear and pain drive many to move on, but remembering how badly I needed a sense of ''shared experience'' and to know others were handling their anxieties, and how, keeps me coming back. I learned so much here, and if that includes reading about others fighting successfully, or being engaged of the rest of their time with this battle, or having voices go silent that I've read and responded to, I guess I accept that as the price. Some truths in life don't allow us to blithly return to notions of a fairness and order to our lives, or that grand illusion that we're so much in control of what happens. We do get to choose, and I have, and I'm here..................................Dave

Prayers
Tom, I'm with you and pray every day for the people on this board. They have been my extended family for the last 12 years and have met some wonderful people here. They definitely have helped me get through a lot.
