blood work
Hi All, haven't been here in awhile. Just chillin and moving along. I have a quick question. My blood work came back today and for some reason it said Atypical Lymphocytes 2+ I never hade that test before and I don't know what it means. Also CEA has jumped to 12.9 Any help. Thanks, Tom

Hi Tom
It is good to see you here again.
I can't help you with your question about Atypical Lymphocytes, but the CEA would worry me a bit.
Saying that, CEA can jump up and down a bit, if other things are going on in the body.
I hope you get to see your Oncologist soon, and see what he has to say.
Keep us informed.

Iam taking new supplaments and I did have an eye infection that I had to see an eye doctor for. I had to take eye drops with an antibiotic and a steroid in it. That cleared it up.

I'm not sure the details of
I'm not sure the details of all the reasons for the marker but after surgery I went back to the hospital a month later (2-14-19) not feeling good at all. They did bloodwork and the Atypical was part of it. It was neg. I am pretty darn sure now they were seeing if I had CV19 as it just hit the US.

Snap, I read something about that test and CV19. My onc. knows I'm not getting the shots so she might have snuck that test in on me. I know I don't have it , I've been tested twice, both times negitive. Anyway I'm not worried because I'll see her this Wed. and pick her brain.

Appointment
I'm not sure about your blood work, but sometimes they redo how they calculate the blood numbers and that could be the reason for the jump. Ask your oncologist about it and see if they are concerned. Glad that you are feeling good other than that. Wishing you the best on your appointment tomorrow and hope that all goes well.
