Urine Cytology in Detection of Endometrial Cancer with Dr. Emma Crosbie

In this episode of the IJGC podcast, Editor-in-Chief, Dr. Pedro Ramirez, is joined by Dr. Emma Crosbie to discuss urine cytology in detection of endometrial cancer. Dr. Crosbie is an NIHR Advanced Fellow, Professor and Honorary Consultant in Gynaecological Oncology at the University of Manchester. Her research focuses on screening, prevention and early detection of gynaecological cancer.
This might be another tool to help early dx of endometrial cancer.

Thank you, Denise! I do not think the current methods are very good so I am guessing the opening "set up" was just that.
What a breakthrough this would be if urine or vaginal fluids could find malignent cells for Type II (agressive) cancer. Very interesting.
