Neck and Swallowing Exercises
So I'm supposed to do these everyday. Typically I'll do 2-3 sets of ten reps. I got a late start on my neck exercises because when I first tried to do them as per instructed instead of babying along my neck wasn't healed and bled.
Now I've tried again and I am getting shooting pains in my neck throughout the day. I was told to stretch as hard as I can without feeling pain. I don't feel pain when I do them but the shooting pain is bad when I push too hard. I do still have full range of motion so my feeling is to just do them how I did them before just kind of gentle and slow until I reach full range of motion because I don't believe this extra that they want me to do is helping at all.
I am able to eat just about anything I want now so swallowing good. I'll keep doing those exercises anyway as long as possible.
Also for those of you who can only chew on one side did it cause pain on the other side? My jaw hurts at the joint and getting head and neck aches on the unused side.
Thank you for reading.
