Sorry to say
My dear hubby Jim, succumbed to this God awful disease 2 days ago. They had him off of chemo temporally for the colostomy and that stupid ulcer and it just grew so fast. Last week we were supposed to enter a clinical trial, but instead his liver went into failure. God bless the man, he worked up until the end. Thursday he was working and Friday I was on the phone with 911. Now Mothers day is ruined for me, that is when he entered hospice care....If you recall he was diagnosed on Thanksgiving day 2017. It was a good run, and he beat the odds. Cancer didn't beat him as far as I am concerned it was always in his control, the drivers seat of his treatment and the choice to go into hospice....
Thank you all for you support all these years. I love you all and hope that you all KICK CANCERS A** TO THE CURB!!!!

So sorry to read this, dear Twinzma
He was a fighter, and so were you. How wonderful, to know he was able to work, up until the end. Not a man to lay back and wait for something to happen.
I wish you and the children all the best, as you move forward.
Pop back to visit with us, on occasoint. We don't want to say goodby.

No, I don't want to say goodbye either. So many here have been so helpful through this journey, you especially. You're not just some random person in a group...I consider you a friend and always will.

Sorry this day came, that he kept working working and plugging away is quite a testament to his will. Hope you find solace in his memory, I have a lot of holidays that share Cindy's memory, so I do them the way she'd like...................................Dave
