NED Again!

I had my blood work and CT Scan done this past week, and a visit with my Oncologist yesterday. He came in, beaming from ear to ear, with the good news that my scan was clear.
It must be so nice, as an Oncologist, when he sees his Stage IV patients surviving. I can't comprehend how awful it must be to be in a profession where a vast amount of your patients are going to die. I would be devestated.
I am beyond HAPPY. In fact, I am this happy and this happy
and even this happy
.

Congratulations
Congratulations!!! ???? It is always good to have people here to manage to get NED even though it is stage 4.
Oncology itself is a fascinating part of medicine for sure. But even without my dad diagnosis I would not go into this profession. I think I would get too attached to the patients and would always take it bad when I as a doctor could not help the patient. Still I want to know how oncology will be when I am retiring from my job compared to now as a student.
But for now just celebrate to be NED
