Happy Thanksgiving!
I think everyday is a day of Thanksgiving, but I am grateful for a specified day when we can gather and really think about all of the good things that have come our way.
In England, we would call it Harvest Festival. Or at least that is what it was called when I was a child growing up. Basically a time of thankfullness for the goodness of the earth and its harvest.
I will sing my favourite hymn from childhood 'We plough the Fields and Scatter' then I will get terrinly homesick and nostalgic. HA!
Becasue I may have COVID - am waiting results - it is just myself, husband and son. My sweet Army son will spend Thanksgiving all alone in his little room at Fort Irwin - my heart hurts to think of this.
Ha! I am obviously writing a tome, here.
Happy Day, everyone!

Happy belated Thanksgiving
I hope everyone had a nice Thanksgiving. It was just the two of us this year, but were able to see my husband's family via Zoom. Thankful we had the technology to be able to at least meet virtually.
I'm also glad to see Mojo girl is living her best life. It was nice that you checked in.
Best wishes to all,
Ellen

Happy late Thanksgiving to
Happy late Thanksgiving to all, and forgive my lateness, I get caught up in things. M, I hope you had a great day, I did. The boy surprised the heck out of me. I was just going to have some turkey dinners delivered, but he wouldn't hear of it. His girl and he hit the grocery store while his buddy Jake and I did a big time cleaning and organizing, lit a fire and made this dormatory into the cozy home I remember. Daniel did all the cooking and made a terrific dinner with all the trimmings and extras. It was really nice, I hope you all enjoyed your day as well. Today was so beautiful in SoCal that I did some desk stuff and lit out on such a long walk, I'm pretty sure I'm not moving until morning, but it was worth it. Blue skies, 70 degrees, and a slight breeze, my kind of December start. Makes me want to embrace everyone, Especially all the good people here, like you M, so late though it is, here's holding you all, in my thoughts....................................................Dave
