Message for Po18Guy
Hello Po18Guy!
I was happy to see you are still on this board. I've not been on here much and it's changed a lot. It looks like some of us "old" members are getting on again.
Is there a transplant board still available? If so, how do I find it?
Also, it sure seems like we used to get notifications when someone replies to our posts?
I hope you are doing well?
Take Care,
Debbie

Some say I'm still alive...
Good to hear from you. We never know what absences mean. I am edified that you have been living life! As to transplant, sadly the 60,000 member cancerforums.net went poof at the stroke of the new year. The owners killed it off and merged it with a site that is absolutely useless - unless you are suffering from extreme anxiety and do not actually have a malignancy. Ugh.
About the best I can offer is the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (https://www.lls.org/) which has groups for all types of blood cancers, including transplants etc. I asked them to form a T-Cell group, and they did, but it is quieter than I would prefer. Bad but good.
Do have a look and it is so good to hear from you!

Thanks, Po
Hi Jim/PoGuy,
Good to see you on here. I noticed this site is not like it used to be, sadly. But a few people are making their way back. Good they formed a T-Cell group on the L&L boards. Hopefully, more people will become aware it's available and get on. I hate to see any group get too busy; it makes me feel bad that more and more people are getting cancer. But at the same time, I'm glad these groups are available if they are beneficial for us. It's good to support each other and share information.
I'll have to go check the L&L site again. Too bad this one had to change.
I'm still in remission and doing well, thank goodness! I am assuming and hoping the same for you? Wasn't your on-going story on here, or on the other site? They could have made changes, but kept posts on here so people know who is who!
Take care, stay safe and well. I hope the smoke from the fires isn't too bad in your area?

Against the GvHD. We are increasing the Ruxolitinib (Jakafi) and once again trying to taper the prednisone. No sign of any of the cancers, thankfully. Very good to hear that you are doing well!
