Cancer center in NJ

Hi all,

I had uterine cancer last year. No chemo. I have breast cancer this year and need chemo.

I'm going to have chemo at the John Theurer Cancer Center in Hackensack, NJ. I haven't met my oncologist yet and I do not know what kind of drug I'll have.

All I know is that I want to prevent neuropathy at all cost. I have bought two pairs of mitts and 2 pairs of booties with extra icing gels for them.

I want to buy a portable freezer because I know they might not keep cold enough for the duration of the treatment.

But, I'm not sure what this center does for icing. I know some centers are doing icing/cryotherapy with just regular ice, and that's preferable to me too, but I want to be sure I'm prepared.

I don't want to wait for my meeting with oncologist and then find out I have to report to chemo the next day or so.

If anyone goes to this place, could you walk me through what they do? I even started to think about "is there an outlet to connect this freezer near the chair?".
